# CleanTempMail

> Create a free temporary email instantly with hundreds of active domains. No sign-up required—keep your real inbox clean, reduce spam, and switch addresses anytime.

CleanTempMail is a temporary email service: use an address on one of its public domains, receive mail immediately, and read it on the website, in the iOS app, in the Chrome extension or through a JSON API.

- There is no mailbox registration: any valid prefix on an active domain receives mail, so compose an address locally or generate one, then read its inbox.
- Send your key in the X-API-Key request header. Keep paid keys on your server; do not expose them in browser code, public repositories, query strings, or logs. `ct-test` is a shared, limited test key.
- Addresses are temporary: do not use them for accounts you need to keep.
